  • 札幌市時計台 Clock Tower
    Sapporo tokei-dai is a beautiful clock tower topped with delta roof. It was designed by William wheeler second vice-principal of Sapporo agricultural school.It's a two storeys wooden building made by balloon framing construction.First floor holds an exhibition room. The second floor is used as a Rental space. At one time in the past, it holds the library of Sapporo city.Both land and building are owned and managed by Sapporo city. The Former Hokkaido Government Building and the Sapporo clock tower are two famous sightseeing spots in Sapporo.This building is a symbol of Sapporo city. They even use this building for Sapporo city symbol sign.

  • さっぽろテレビ塔 Sapporo TV Tower
    Sapporo TV tower is located at east end of Oodori-park and along the Sowsei-river. its Height is 147.2 meters from the ground.It was first built to serve as a signal antenna for Sapporo started TV broadcast.This is the one of famous sightseeing spot in Sapporo. You can find variety of shops, restaurants inside it. there is also an observation deck 90 meters high from the ground.The view from the observation deck is spectacular. Oodori-park looks magnificent from up there.

  • 北海道庁旧本庁舎
    The Former Hokkaido Goverment Building, red in appearance contrasts beautifully in every season,. Local people call it "Akarenga"means "Red bricks".Today, it’s partially open to visitors as a national library for the history of Hokkaido. Another part of the building is still being used as a meeting room by The Hokkaido government.The Ginkgo tree avenue in front of it was designed by Ikusuke Myoi back in 1924.

  • 大通公園 Odori Park
    Odori park is located at centre of Sapporo city and stretches up to 1.5 km from east to west.This park is an ideal space for relaxation and international exchange. Odori park holds major events throughout the year such as "YOSAKOI Soran festival"and "Beer garden"in summer, "Snow festival" and "while Illumination"in winter.

  • すすきの Susukino
    Susukino is a one of the most famous entertainment district in Japan.Susukino was previously covered with Miscanthus sinensis, pampas grass called SUSUKINO in Japanese. The rumours says it was named after the plant.another theory states that Susukino was named after Ryunosuke Usui, a Hokkaido pioneer.There are hundred of restaurants, bars in this area. Always buzzing with people.
